In 2009, Waterloo Flowers implemented a plastic recycling program. In short we have placed collection bins on our site so we can recycle plastic pots, baskets, trays and other plastics that are not recyclable through your municipality.

The opportunity to recycle is available to all our customers andour  non customers. Simply return your used containers to us and we willl either reuse what we can or collect them to be delivered to a recycling centre.

We are also working to replace the use of plastics where possible and for 2010 we will use 300,000 compostable pots in place of plastic pots.

Less plastic in landfills means a better future for all of us.
